How to get there: How do we get to the Hotel Kronblick in Chienes?

The Hotel Kronblick**** is located in Val Pusteria in the north of South Tyrol. We’ve compiled all the information you need for travelling by bus, train, car or plane on this page

Check-in/Check-out: When will our rooms be ready?

Your rooms and suites will be ready from 2 pm on the day you arrive. Please vacate your accommodation by 11 am on your day of departure. 

E-charging station: How much does it cost to charge our electric vehicle?

You are welcome to use one of our charging stations at the house. Please remember to bring your own plug. 

Half board and ¾ half board: What meals are available and when?

Staying at the Hotel Kronblick is a pleasure at any time of the year. Check out our culinary page for all the details on food, drinks and regional specialities. Breakfast, light snacks and beverages in the wellness area, as well as a four-course evening meal, are included in the price of your room. In the summer, we also offer an afternoon buffet featuring coffee, freshly baked cakes and sweet treats. 

Dogs: are pets allowed at the Hotel Kronblick?

We’re happy to welcome your well-behaved furry friends! For the comfort of all guests, please mention your pet when making your enquiry. Dogs are permitted only in specific room categories to accommodate guests with allergies, and our wellness area and restaurants are reserved for human guests only. There’s an additional charge of €25.00 per night and dog. 

Child discounts: are there special family rates?

As a family-friendly wellness hotel, we are particularly delighted to host young guests and pleased to offer the following discounts on double rooms and family suites: 

  • From 0 to 2 years: €20 per day
  • From 3 to 6 years: 50% discount
  • From 7 to 15 years: 30% discount

Local tax: what’s that?

The so-called local tax or tourist tax is a tax that all guests aged 14 and over are required to pay. It currently amounts to €2.50 per person and night. Please remember to include this tax in your final calculation. Your contribution is invaluable for maintaining the infrastructure and leisure activities in the area. 

Car park: where does our car go on holiday?

If you choose one of our Dream Suites, a reserved underground parking space is already included in the price. There are also plenty of free parking spaces around our house.

Travel Cancellation Protection Insurance: why is insurance important?

Since life doesn’t always go as planned, we highly recommend our travel cancellation insurance. This way, you can protect yourself from unnecessary cancellation fees.

Cancellation: what are the conditions?

If you haven’t purchased travel cancellation insurance, the following fees will apply: 

  • One month to one week prior to arrival: 40% of the booking value.
  • In the last week prior to arrival: 80% of the price.
  • For early check-outs or late arrivals, we will charge 100% of the booked room rate per person.
  • Any deposits made will be credited to your next visit with us or exchanged for a voucher. 

Method of payment: how can I pay my bill?

On your departure day, you can pay your bill in cash (up to €4,999), by check, or using an EC card, Visa, Mastercard or Eurocard. If you wish to pay via bank transfer, please select the “Instant Payment” option so that the funds reach our account by your departure. Otherwise, please be aware that the typical processing time for financial institutions is usually around three days.
